The thief was looking at the desk in the children’s room when the child woke up.
Charges were brought against a woman who entered a family home one night last September through the front door left open, then searched the children’s room, which woke up the child sleeping there. The child questioned the intruder and even took back the money taken from the desk. The parent sleeping in the other room also woke up to the noise and together they disturbed the uninvited night visitor.
According to the accusation, the woman from Kiskunhalas had no job or regular income, so she supported herself by stealing. At the beginning of 2023, he regularly left stores with branded drinks without payment. On one occasion, he walked out with a shopping cart filled with alcohol, meat products and chocolate worth more than HUF 400,000 through the photocell entrance door, taking advantage of the door opening due to the arrival of a customer.
The woman also looted farms around Kiskunhalas, and took roosters from there at night, which she later sold.
The Kiskunhalas District Prosecutor’s Office brought charges against the thief for attempted robbery, trespassing and multiple counts of theft.
The prosecutor’s office accuses the woman – a multiple and particular recidivist – of a total of 9 crimes. The prosecutor’s office is recommending the imposition of a prison sentence against the defendant, who is still under arrest, with the exception of the possibility of parole.
