Police.hu reports that KR NNI investigators caught the eye of a 49-year-old man who they had information that he regularly sells drugs – cocaine and marijuana – in Budapest.

On April 15, the investigators appeared at the man’s office in Budapest, where they caught him selling drugs to a customer.

The police made the buyer’s identification, searched his car, and found green vegetable debris wrapped in aluminum foil, suspicious of drugs, and white powder in a nylon bag.

In addition to him, the investigators also identified and produced a customer from Budapest who regularly bought from the 49-year-old man. Both men were interrogated for possession of drugs, and the previously purchased drugs were also seized from them.

The 49-year-old man was apprehended by the investigators the same day, interrogated as a suspect for drug trafficking, taken into custody, and then initiated his arrest.

The court ordered this on April 18.

The investigators of the Anti-Drug Crime Department of the KR NNI conducted house searches in properties connected to the users and the man.

They seized more than 700 doses of drugs – marijuana and cocaine, with a black market value of nearly 4 million forints – as well as more than 3 million forints and nearly 1,500 euros.
