THE Specialization program The community center invited four groups to organize its final exhibition, and the applicants could learn about candle making, beading, macrame weaving and felting. – Every department did valuable, soulful work, in addition to imparting knowledge, they supported the participants in learning the skills of the trades step by step, while happy, cohesive teams were formed, who filled the house with serenity, harmony and creativity week after week from October to April – Angeli tells our newspaper Director Anna Katalin. – The professional members worked with great enthusiasm, talked, got to know each other, learned, created wonderful things for the pleasure of themselves and all of us, showing how much power they have individually and together, he adds.

We made dipped, cast, and beeswax candles, floating and nut candles, sheet candles, coffee, wrapped, and twisted candles, countless types of bracelets, pearl necklaces, pearl loops, raccoon necklaces, key chains, coasters, and Christmas tree decorations. Hanging and table candle holders, flower stands and imaginative wall decorations, dish holders, glove puppets, angels, notebook holders, bottle warmers, wall storage, pillows, bags were born.

From all this, the staff of the community center conjured up a colorful exhibition under the direction of Marianna Gáspár, the opening of which was honored by her presence and greeted by Anita Gerőfiné Mészáros, deputy county director of NMI Veszprém. Director Katalin Angeli then praised the work of the four departments, presenting a gift to all participants. The Napfény Women’s Choir also contributed to the elevated mood of the holiday, singing two works by László Endl.
