On Monday, Mandiner reported that Péter Magyar – who is continuing his country tour in Baranya County this week – recently shared a photo album of almost post-apocalyptic landscapes on his social media page, to which he wrote as an accompanying text:
Somewhere in Europe. The forgotten Hungary, the countryside left alone”.
Later, however, it turned out that the gutted, dilapidated buildings were actually not quite there “left to their own devices”because their owner operates an airsoft field in the area.
“Of course, we can laugh at this dishonest, mean ass, how stupid, how stupid, let’s laugh too. But, what is much more important, much more essential:
there is no place in the world, nowhere, where it would not be possible to make horrible recordings of the conditions and the horrors of the people who live there”
Zsolt Bayer wrote about the case.
Speaking of which, the publicist viewed five different recordings of major cities in the United States of America. “My God, what kind of world, what kind of society is it that looks like this and where such zombies lead their miserable lives? Dirt, filth, decay, people who are no longer people” – wrote Zsolt Bayer.
