The Harta – Kalocsa derby, which has decades of tradition, once again brought an intriguing and exciting clash, where there was no shortage of events this time. It’s true, we’ve written it countless times: it can rain, it can be muddy, a Harta-Kalocsa match is always considered a rally regardless of the current rankings. This is how it happened at their meeting on April 20, where immediately after the start, the teams measured the “strike distance”. Fortunately, caution was increasingly replaced by brave attacking play, which woke up the nearly 200-strong audience.
In the fall “Odavágó” at the beginning of October, a confident 4-2 victory over Kalocsa was achieved, which was our team’s fifth in a row. With this, KFC was able to step onto the podium, while those from Harta slipped down to the thirteenth position. Our goals were scored by Stefano Varga, Beni Tamás, Szabi Farkas and Levente Tóth, while Rudolf Dunai and Gábor Ivacs scored for Harta.

The deadlock was then broken in the 20th minute of the match. Black “Fekusz”, whose movements resembled a “flying forest elf”, could only be stopped by our defenders irregularly. Eleven! Ivacs sold the penalty confidently when he shot the ball into Vatai’s goal (1-0). Minutes later, the home team could take a corner kick from the left. Dunai, who shot the ball sharply, rolled it into the short corner, our defenders almost prevented the Vatai goalkeeper from saving the ball, and then the intervening Puskás “spun” the ball into our net (2-0). At the end of the half hour, we cleaned up. Zalán Farkas’ “theatrical” throw-in by Szabi Farkas with a beautiful move – he shot from half a turn into the lower left corner of Harta’s goal (2-1). And perhaps at the best time from Harta’s point of view – in the minute of the final whistle – Fekete again defeated our defenders inside the penalty area, when they were “overturned” again. Thus, the home team got a penalty again. Gábor Ivacs scored the penalty this time as well (3-1).
