On the second of May, the Fire Prevention Committee of the Somogy County Fire Prevention Committee will launch a free manual fire extinguisher inspection campaign for residents, which is unique in the country.
During the several-day program, the public can have the devices installed in their homes and cars inspected, the use of which greatly improves the fire protection of homes and vehicles.
Powder extinguishers must be checked periodically in accordance with the regulations. It happens, however, that citizens forget about the maintenance of the devices and cannot use them in the event of a problem.
Deaths and fires with large property damage can be prevented by successfully extinguishing the initial fires. Check the maintenance of your fire extinguisher! If maintenance becomes necessary, the specialist will carry it out for a fee if required.
Don’t find out in an emergency that your fire extinguisher is unusable!
