The history of bitcoin has reached another milestone, as the halving took place in the past few days, and the amount of cryptocurrencies that can be extracted from the network for miners has decreased. In connection with this, frauds and abuses against Hungarian customers have increased spectacularly. At the same time, the bitcoin market is developing by leaps and bounds. The most common form of scams is when fraudsters claim to have received a large prize or gift in bitcoins in a phone or email inquiry. However, in order to be able to access it, a small amount must be transferred to “unlock”. This in itself is a disqualifying factor, since bitcoin cannot be locked, so there is no need to unlock it.
