During a press conference, it was announced that the “Honey! – dessert tour in the heart of the Great Plain” second stage. The organizers emphasize that this is not a weight loss tour, so dieters who are easily seduced should read the program with extra caution.
The desserts of Attila Nagy, the chef of the Aranylakat Bistro in Szolnok, were also presented at the event open to the press, and it was also announced that a total of eight restaurants in the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok counties joined the dessert tour.
The purpose of the tour is to show the public receptive to rural gastronomy that there are many culinary values, developments and things to discover in the heart of the Great Plain. The ingredients will include regional characteristics, e.g. Mezőtúr quince, prunes, rose hips, Kisújszállás wild rice…
You will be able to taste eight very delicious desserts at eight different stations:
- Aranylakat Bistro (Szolnok): Secret garden
- Horváth Garden Restaurant Kisújszállás NEW (Kisújszállás): White chocolate ball with wild rice
- Nimród Organic Hotel, Organic Restaurant and Organic Store (Karcag): Plum dumplings 2024
- Park Restaurant Berekfürdő: Tsipike
- Ferdinand Bistro (Kunmadaras): Ferdinand with apricot jam and toasted walnuts
- Lépcző Bisztró Tisza lake: Goat cheese cake with currants and walnut grill
- Hercegasszony Estate (Mezőtúr): Mezőtúr quince pie
- Liliomfi Restaurant Szolnok: Rákóczifalva cottage cheese
The sweets will be available on the menus from the beginning of May, according to the plan they will be available until the end of the year.
“Love it, at least as much as we, Zsófi and the creators of the desserts and the managers of the restaurants love this program!” – wrote the organizers.
