The local organization of the MSZP commemorates the 133rd anniversary of the agrarian socialist movement in Orosház on April 30 (Tuesday) at 7:30 p.m. The commemoration will be followed by a torchlight parade and street party.

The local organization of the MSZP is organizing its commemoration last year, which drew more than five thousand participants, again this year, in honor of the 133rd anniversary of the agrarian socialist movement, the flame of togetherness and solidarity is rekindled.

The ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m. in front of the former library building on Dózsa György Street. János Raffai, Vászáld Orosházát, gives a speech! candidate for mayor of the democratic opposition coalition and Bertalan Tóth, faction leader of the Hungarian Socialist Party. Afterwards, a wreath will be laid at the monument in memory of the heroes of the agrarian socialist movement, the organizers are waiting for all those who would like to pay their respects with a bunch of flowers.

This will be followed by the torchlight parade starting at 8 p.m. The participants will go along the route Dózsa György utca-Győri Vilmos tér ‒ Kossuth utca ‒ Könd utca. Motorists are asked by the organizers to leave the route clear.

After the torchlight parade, a street party that lasts until midnight closes the event on the market square, with a performance by the Jaffa Trió party band.
