In several articles, Rita Szabó Gödri, a journalist from the transparent.hu, wrote about a children’s beauty pageant organizer who caused hundreds of thousands of forints worth of damage to parents who took their children to photo shoots or competitions, RTL reports.

A hearing was held in the case last week at the Érdi District Court. The indictment states that the organizer acted as an agent and intermediary for actor-model jobs, but did not have the relevant training, authorization, license or liability insurance.

The method was similar in all cases, which the journalist investigating the case told RTL.

The organizer invites them to foreign and domestic photo shoots and beauty contests, asks them for the money for the trip in advance, like an advance, says that the children’s trip is free, only the parents and the accompanying person have to pay. The parents also transfer these amounts to the given bank account number, then the trip is canceled a day or two before the trip

Even if the parents then try to get their money back, they usually don’t succeed, as the organizer usually just promises and delays. There is a family to whom he caused millions of dollars in damage.

In Germany, the beauty pageant organizer organizes some kind of program for almost every weekend, these are typically photo shoots, but they are not necessarily conducted by professional photographers, nor do they take place at professional locations.

One of the mothers, who traveled to London with her family for a photo shoot, said that there was neither a professional photographer nor a make-up artist on site, the organizer took a few pictures with his phone.

The organizers of the competitions worked with several photographers, including a photographer with the monogram PK, who was convicted of child pornography and sexual abuse. he is currently serving a 6-year prison sentence.
