Commemorative medals for the Protection of the County of Tolna were recently presented by dr. Chief Kálmán Horváth, chairman of the Tolna County Defense Committee. With the award, he recognized those who excelled in the implementation of defense preparation, practical and administrative tasks in the county.

Correctional major Krisztián Hollósi, a staff member of the Tolna County Penitentiary Institute, received recognition for his cooperation with partner agencies and for the institution’s mobilization tasks.

Rozália Huszárné Lukács, the mayor of Báta, who as the leader of the settlement since 2010 has done a lot for the development of the village and for the public safety of Báta, for the protection of the population and material assets. As mayor, he performed his duties outstandingly in flood defense situations.

Katalin Müller, president of the Tamási Volunteer Fire Association, who supports the work of the association as a member and later as its president, took part in the construction of the new and modern fire barracks and the Regional Training Center in Tamási. He considers maintaining contact with the fire departments of the sister cities to be his priority, he considers volunteer work his profession, and he sets an example of assistance, solidarity, togetherness, courage and selflessness.

Fire Major Endre Sárossy, acting head of the Human Service of the Tolna County Disaster Management Directorate, who provided outstanding performance in the field of human resources in providing personnel for epidemic management and humanitarian tasks arising from the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. His extensive professional knowledge, his ability to cooperate, and his problem-solving skills are outstanding.

Andor Tóth, an employee of the National Ambulance Service, who is also a retired ambulance officer, station manager, and instructor. He took an outstanding part in the treatment of the epidemic, and he also takes a role in the training of the new generation.

Dr. András Varga, head of the City Administration and Police Department of the Szekszárd mayor’s office, national defense officer, who contributed to the improvement of the city’s public safety and the safety of the population’s life with his work. He was actively involved in organizing the care of Ukrainian refugees, his work and attitude are exemplary.

Antal Róth, an employee of the Public Health Department of the Szekszárd District Office of the Tolna County Government Office, has worked in the field of public health and epidemiology since the beginning of his career. With great practice and professional experience, he performed the tasks necessary for the prevention of infectious diseases and epidemics: in the homes of infectious patients, in educational, health and social institutions. He developed and nurtured effective and cooperative relationships with patients, health care providers, education and training institutions and municipalities. His work was characterized by accuracy, efficiency and, above all, a high degree of professional commitment, his work in the field of epidemiology spanning more than three decades is of a high standard and exemplary – they write in the announcement of the Tolna County Government Office.
