The economic mentor program has reached project closure

--

The economic mentor program of Gyula Andrássy High School, the Andrássy Business School, ended with a project closing event. The school program, which has been running since 2018, was created with the aim of educating about financial innovation and practical life.

– I really enjoyed that with the help of our mentors, we were able to gain insight into the smaller segments of the financial world, for example, how to fill out a founding document for our fictitious companies and other aspects of financial planning. The participation was very useful for me and I think I will use the acquired knowledge and information in the future as well – said one of the participants of the mentor program, the graduate Vician Marcell, who wants to study business informatics after graduation. At the event, the mentored groups participating in the program were able to present their fictitious companies and their business plans.

– For us, this is a very fruitful investment. ABS (Andrássy Business School) also serves to develop financial awareness for the students of our institution, which means the formation of an attitude that we all need. It is a source of particular joy and pride that the Ministry of Finance awarded our mentor program with an award and financial support for the Development of Financial Awareness in 2020 – he highlighted Laszlo Szabodirector of Andrássy High School.

István Kása, the managing director of Marzek-Kner Packaging Kft. in Csaba, said: during the program, they encountered a lot of valuable and creative ideas from the students. As he said: they will already represent a different generation and a different way of thinking on the labor market, but that’s okay, since the purpose of the program was not duplication, but also the development of thought-provoking and problem-solving skills.
