In NB II, Kecskemét NKSE and Mizse KC are also in the upper house. The ladies of Kecskemét welcomed Gyula. Both Jámbor-Herceg and Megyesi were successful at the beginning. Gyula’s first goal was scored at the very end of the 6th minute. For the home team, Kollár, Vuletity and Szarvas were among the scorers, and in the middle of the half, in the 15th minute, Palotás’ goal continued to give Kecskemé a confident lead, 8-5. For the visitors, Szófia Kovács mostly delivered the goals, but after Jámbor-Herceg’s goal in the 25th minute, the hosts already led by four, 12-8. However, in the remaining time of the half, KNKSE did not score any more goals, with goals from Ilyés and Hegedűs, so Gyula closed to two.

After the turnaround, the visiting team immediately reduced its deficit to a minimum, but with goals from Jámbor-Herceg and Kollár, Kecskemé still held on. However, Kamilla Szabó took Gyula on her back, with three consecutive goals – and Kiss Virág was also effective – Gyula was already in the lead for the first time in the match. Jámbor-Herceg sold two weeks for the home team, so the famous city team was able to take back the lead, however, entering the last quarter of the match with a 3-0 run, Gyula already led by two. Moreover, with Szögi’s goal in the 49th minute, the guests’ lead was already three, 18-21. However, KNKSE came back with goals from Megyesi, Jámbor-Herceg and Czenczik, and in the 54th minute it was equal again, 23-23. However, the last six minutes did not go very well for the Kecskeméts, the goalkeeper Mike from Gyula blocked every shot, while in attack the goals of Szögi and Ilyés finally decided the fate of the two points, 23-26. KNKSE is in sixth place with this, next time on May 5 will receive the Deer.

– We started quite well, we managed to score more goals despite the many mistakes.

Unfortunately, we produced a bad second half again, which is slowly becoming a trend for the team. We received an opinionated referee’s blow in the final game, namely in a draw, from which we got a quick goal. Unfortunately, we could not reverse this. I hope the girls will take revenge in the return match – commented head coach Petra Bró-Kisjuhász.

Mizse KC also defeated two rivals with championship chances in the last two rounds for men, and Máté Hollós’ team continues to play ecstatically in the upper house. Lajosmizsei won Makó 38-49, and with this they are only one point behind Csömör and Mezőtúr in the standings. Lajosmizse will host Újkígyós on Saturday at 18:00.

In the lower house, the flawless Bácsalmás had a day off in the women’s field, but they will host Rákosmenté on Saturday at 6 p.m.

In the men’s category, Kalocsa won the relegation rally at home 33-32 against Nagyatád, thereby overtaking its rival and leaving last place. Next Sunday at 4:30 p.m. they will play in Siklós.

In the men’s top division, the regular season is already underway, where Kiskunmajsa, the leader with the same score, and Kiskőrös, who is lagging behind with a worse goal difference, have already secured their place in the final four with 26-26 points. This time, Kiskőrös rested, so it was caught by the rival, who beat Gézengúz UKC 31-17, in terms of matches. NJE from Kecskemét is fighting for the fourth place, beating Tiszakécs 38-26, thus keeping its third place. Like him, Kiskunhalas also has 18 points, which won 26-29 in Soltvadkerten, but the Kecskemét team also has a missed match. With two rounds to go, Gézengúz can still have a say in reaching the top four, which has 16 points.

For the women, the upper house brings amazing excitement, as we reported on baon.hu, there were close battles in the previous round as well. Then Nemesnádudvar won 21-22 in Kiskunmajs, while Kalocsa Lajosmizsé won 32-35. On Saturday at 16:00, Lajosmizse will visit Kiskunmajsa, whichever team loses here in the fourth round will most likely say goodbye to their championship dreams. Nemesnádudvar will host Kalocsá on Sunday at 2 p.m., so the current leader will face the second defending champion. There is currently only one point between the two teams in Kalocsa’s favor, so last year’s champion can overtake with a win, but at the same time Kalocsa could take a big step towards dethroning with a win. Two matches were held in the lower house most recently, Kiskőrös beat Solt 37-29, while Kiskunhalas won 24-31 at Soltvadkerten.
