The final of the diocesan religious education competition was held in Kiskunmajsa – with a gallery

To the great joy of the competitors and their trainers, the archbishop of the diocese, Dr. Balázs Bábel, graced the final with his presence. The writing of the series of tasks, which required serious preparation and primarily measured lexical knowledge, was followed by a thanksgiving mass, which the archbishop presented together with the fathers present.

The final ended with an award ceremony. The commemorative certificates and the prizes for the podium winners were handed over by Father Róbert Hatházi of Ft., the president of the Diocese Catechetical Committee. In the county finals of the Kalocsa-Kecskemét Archdiocese’s religious education competition in 2024, the religious teachers who reached the podium by episcopal district:

5 – 6th grade, individual

• 1st place: Ákos Vazul Felföldi (Kecskemét parish district)
• 2nd place: Anna Balázs (Kalocsai Esperes district)
• 3rd place: Benedek Kovács (Hajós parish district)

Grades 7 – 8, individual

• 1st place: Katona Karina (Majsai Esperes district)
• 2nd place: Milán Radics (Kecskemét city)
• 3rd place: Emília Spekner (Hajós parish district)

High school, individual

• 1st place: Csontos Szabolcs (Majsai Esperes district)
• 2nd place: Dóra Langmaier (Kecskemét city)
• 3rd place: Balázs Rábaközi (Keceli-Eperes district)

Grade 5 – 6, team

• 1st place: Levente Bence Tabajdi, Csongor Katona, Zsombor Sári (Majsai parish district)

Among the individual and team competitors who placed on the podium, several students have been keeping their place in the top for years and have now won the finals of the religion competition for the third and fourth time.
