On April 20, from 8:00 a.m., the election office issued the required recommendation forms to the nominating organizations and an independent mayoral candidate. Last Saturday, by 4:00 p.m., the following nominating organizations returned the nomination forms for the mayor and individual constituency representatives. First, Fidesz-KDNP, and then Vášáld Orosházá! Association (Democratic Coalition, Momentum Movement, Hungarian Socialist Party, Dialogue – the Green Party) are nominating organizations. On April 22nd, Together for the City of Orosháza! The Local Patriotic Movement handed in the nomination forms of the candidates and announced the settlement compensation list. The staff of the Local Electoral Office checked the recommendation forms, and each candidate collected the valid recommendation number required for registration. At its meeting held on April 23, Orosháza City’s Local Election Committee decided to register the candidates and the settlement compensation list. Mi Hazánk Mozgalom and two independent mayoral candidates have not yet submitted the nomination forms to the election office.

In order for the local election committee to register the additional candidates, lists, and candidates of local ethnic municipalities if there is a sufficient number of valid recommendations, recommendation forms can be requested and the candidates and compensation lists can be announced by May 6, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. .
