We were able to participate in more than 3,000 programs in more than 100 settlements, from the smallest village of Bakony to Zala, in diverse genres such as ecology, theater, visual arts, design, literature or gastronomy. In addition, the Veszprém–Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture program, buildings were renovated and became a part of cultural everyday life again, and new public spaces were created, which are open to the public even after the EKF year.
The past period is recalled in the framework of two exhibitions in Veszprém: “two thousand and twenty-three best of” on display in the Dubniczay Palace until June 2 presents the most creative art projects of the VEB2023 EKF program, while “Shine on” in the Laczkó Dezső Museum from April 26 to June 9 next! At the exhibition “Two thousand and twenty-three Cultural Creative Regions of Europe: Memories of a season, the future of a region”, we can get to know the first steps of the VEB2023 EKF program, the most memorable moments of the events of the past years, all with the help of exciting installations, behind-the-scenes secrets and personal stories.
