--

Sports, games, entertainment – this is what awaited all those who visited the Family Ice Carnival this year, which was organized for the 9th time in the Ice Hall by the Mental Health and Equality Center (DEMEK) together with the Lelkierő Egyesület as part of the university’s family-friendly program for the employees and family members of the University of Debrecen. . More than five hundred people took part in Saturday’s event.

– This was the first time that we could organize the family program on the 1st rink of the Ice Hall, which has a maximum capacity of five hundred people, so we were very happy that we were able to receive all the applicants. The number of participants also proves that the Ice Carnival enjoys unbroken popularity among university employees, he told the hirek.unideb.hu portal András Berényihead of the DEMEK center.

As in previous years, the Debrecen Ice Arena was full of skating children and adults.

– As a truly family-friendly university, it is important for the institution to contribute to joint programs with a series of family events where employees and their children can have fun together. After all, university employees form a family not only at work, but also when it comes to recreation – he said in his greeting László Cernoch vice chancellor.
