Regarding the distribution of almost 200,000 laptops, Bence Rétvári, the State Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior, said that while before 2010, families still had to worry about how much the price of textbook packages was increasing every year, now not only books, but also laptops are provided to children for free, he said. the MTI.

He indicated that at the current pace of the project, which has been running for the third year, 193,000 devices will be delivered to students in the fifth, sixth and ninth grades, and the distribution of laptops will continue in the next school year. Modern, touch-screen Dell, Asus, HP and Lenovo machines also come with a three-year warranty.

Rétvári emphasized that in the world of smart devices, it is particularly important to help teachers to educate children as efficiently as possible and to spend less time on administration. The interactive tasks, audio materials, images, film excerpts, and music available on digital devices capture children’s attention better and help deepen their knowledge.

We are in the period of education development on the largest scale in Hungary

– stated Bence Rétvári, who also recalled that in recent years, the government implemented 5,680 kindergarten and school improvements out of HUF 1,400 billion.

He said that a 32.2 percent salary increase for teachers began in Hungary in January, which is expected to continue next year with another 21 percent increase, and in four years the government will increase the salaries of teachers, teachers and kindergarten teachers by a total of 93.5 percent.

According to the state secretary, it should not be forgotten that the European Union did not contribute to raising teachers’ salaries and distributing student notebooks.

He emphasized that the Hungarian economy is in such a state that the Hungarian government can fully manage the costs of raising wages and distributing digital tools from budgetary resources, while we are in a period of war and sanctions, which means economic difficulties for all European countries.

Bence Rétvári continued that they are confident that the EU funds will arrive in Hungary sooner or later. According to him, it is very unfortunate that meanwhile the left is proud that if it were up to them, no resources would come to Hungary.
