Last weekend, the Szolnok Travel and Leisure Exhibition was held for the 25th time, where every year the many local values and tourist attractions of Szolnok and its surroundings are presented.
The weather was also kind, so many people were curious about the jubilee exhibition, where Szeged, Újszász, Nyíregyháza, Martfű, Tiszavárkony and the two guests of honor, Veszprém and Reutlingen, among others, were represented. The events of the three-day event took place in two locations, in the indoor Agórá and the open-air Hild tér.
On Friday, after the ceremonial opening, stage shows and then a street party awaited those interested. On Saturday, the focus was on the exhibitors, we were able to mingle with the participants, try our hand at previously unknown creative fields, flip through colorful presentation materials and choose among possible destinations for summer trips.
A good number of young and old participated in the programs, the visitors were able to gain a lot of new experiences, for example, they could learn more about the Battle of Szolnok or the birds of Hungary, but they could also taste the mysteries of felting or snail drifting.
