Next week, we can donate blood at a total of seven locations in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County, thereby helping our colleagues in health problems. Applications are welcome from those who are over 18 but under 65, weigh less than 50 kg and feel healthy.
On April 24 (Wednesday) between ten in the morning and five in the afternoon, the Szolnok Területi Vérellátó is waiting for the participants, in addition to the six other locations that organize drop-in blood donations:
Tiszasas, Mayor’s Office (Rákóczi Ferenc utca 32) April 22 08:30 – 11:00
Kunszentmárton, Cultural Center (16 Kossuth Street) April 22, 12:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Túrkeve, Cultural Center (Táncsics u. 16) April 23 09:00 – 12:00
For weapons, Cultural Center (Szent E. u. 184) April 25, 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Tiszafüred, Community Center (Örvényi út 6.) April 26 09:00 – 13:00
Tiszaszőlős, Family Helper and Child Welfare Service (Jókai u. 17) April 26, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Don’t forget, donating blood really saves lives! Blood transfusions are essential for those who have suffered serious injuries, need surgery, or have a blood-related disease.
In addition, donating blood helps healthcare facilities maintain stability of supply. Accidents and emergencies often happen unexpectedly and blood supplies can be depleted quickly. Volunteer blood donors help maintain the supply, ensuring there is always enough to meet needs.
Fortunately, the trained professionals of the health care facilities take care of the safety and comfort of the blood donors. A blood donation usually takes half an hour, and a single donation can save many lives. If you can, let’s take part in one of the drop-in blood drives or visit the local blood supply on Tószegi út on April 24.
To donate blood, you must bring your identity card, address and Taj card.
