A drunken man harassed his young daughter on the Miskolc tram. The girl, who was scared to death, was finally helped by an off-duty police officer

The newspaper contacted the mother, who said that a drunken man harassed her daughter on the tram from Tiszai to Diósgyőr. Even though she didn’t speak to him, her headphones were plugged in, she was listening to music, but he still stabbed her. The irritated man tore the earphones from his daughter’s ears and started yelling obscenities at her.
At that point, the young man was scared to death, he didn’t even dare to speak, which made the attacker even more angry, so he started pushing the girl, who started to cry. Fortunately, help arrived then in the form of an off-duty police officer.
The man told the bully that if he did not get off at the next stop, he would notify the police and that there would be serious consequences for his actions. After that, the drunk figure immediately stopped and left the tram at the very first station. She was terribly grateful to him.
As it turned out, it was an off-duty police officer whose duty it is to intervene at such times. “We need more people like this! We are currently trying to find him so that we can thank him for his help, as I can thank him that my daughter got home safely and that nothing major happened!” – indicated the mother.
