Princess Katalin’s cancer diagnosis drastically changed her relationship with Prince William.
The Princess of Wales is currently undergoing cancer treatment as the couple prepare to celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary.
As this momentous date approaches, they are likely to reflect on how strong their bond has become over the years. Catherine’s health battles have brought them closer together, and according to royal author Robert Jobson, they will emerge stronger from these experiences.

Robert said it was difficult for both of them, especially as parents, balancing their child’s mental well-being with the severity of the diagnosis. However, Vilmos was the solid point for Katalin and stood by her even in difficult times.
The royal couple met nearly 20 years ago as students at the University of St. Andrews, and have stuck by each other’s side ever since, through and through challenges.
Although the duties of the Crown Prince and Duchess are likely to increase in the coming years, they prioritize family life, especially with regard to their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
Katalin has included the interests of the children in her daily routine, and Vilmos is also actively involved in household chores, especially after Katalin’s surgery in January. Both have remained mentally strong since their diagnosis, and Robert says the challenge has brought them even closer.
