Péter Merő, one of the jury members of Next Top Model Hungary, is one of the most successful Hungarian fashion designers today. She told Bors some tricks that every woman can use to become more attractive and confident.

The fashion designer of the stars moves at home among the beautiful models, and walking down the street he immediately recognizes a woman’s level of self-confidence and self-identity.

“It’s a pleasure to see when a woman has style, her outfit is well thought out. I can see in a second that someone wore a certain dress just because they saw it in a fashion magazine or chose it instinctively. Almost any dress looks good on a model-shaped girl, but in general, just because it’s fashionable doesn’t suit everyone. But walking is even more important than the clothes. I often see women who move anywhere in the world.

By the way, a few small changes can improve the overall picture a lot. For example, I could tell most people to get out! It’s a small but noticeable change when a woman stretches her knees when she’s standing, especially the one she puts more weight on. A stooped leg suggests insecurity. Another golden rule, in which I might see an improvement recently, is that if a woman wears a dress that shows her legs, for example, her cleavage or shoulders should not be exposed: that’s too much!

“It’s exciting to see the show on the screen, since during filming we only met the girls at the judging. We knew little about the preparation and the conflicts that took place in the villa. In light of this, we might have formed a different opinion in some cases. But overall, a big stone fell from my heart when I saw the first broadcasts, because the program shows an authentic picture of our four”

he pointed to the jury team.

Peter’s appearance on the show is always impeccable, and he strives to be that way in everyday life as well.

Of course, I pay a lot of attention to my appearance, but I confess that it is not perfection that is important, but harmony. Of course, I’m not standing next to the tailoring table in a jacket, sometimes you can find me wearing a t-shirt

“Almost everything I wear is designed by me and made with my team. Part of the reason for this is that due to my height, most of the clothes in stores are not good for me: they are either too short or the waistline falls in the wrong place.”

Péter Merő was a ballet dancer when he was young, but even then he was interested in fashion, as he modeled himself.

“I modeled when I was 18, but then dancing was still in the first place, I couldn’t reconcile the two.”

But I also have to admit that I would not have been able to meet many of the criteria that I now expect from the girls in the Next Top Model Hungary program

– added the favorite designer of the stars, who is usually very strict with the judging in the show.

“The criticism is fair that I am stricter from show to show, but as there are fewer and fewer girls in the competition, they have to perform better. A top model is humble, self-identified, quickly understands the task, and is able to correct according to the instructions. The winner of the competition will also qualify us: we need to find a girl who will represent the profession internationally as well.”
