The Budapest Metropolitan University’s two-day event is free to attend.

Till Attila He has been happily married for 26 years. He and his love are raising three children together. The presenter very rarely gives a glimpse into his private life, usually only when it is about an important moment.

But now he also stands up for a good cause.

My two sons are also studying to become filmmakers at METU, studying in Ildikó Enyedi’s and Diána Groó’s classes, so there was no question that I would also be there at the university’s biggest film review, the METUSCOPE Film Review

said the presenter in connection with the first Metuscope Film Review. Budapest Metropolitan University created the Metuscope Film Screening by merging four professional art projects. On April 26th and 27th, the two-day exhibition awaits those interested with the works of the university’s students and Attila Till as the host. The free event is hosted by Corvin Mozi.

The Metuscope Film Review 2024 combines the screenings of graduate theses of students in the professional fields of animation (ANIMASCOPE), motion picture (CINEMASCOPE) and media design (FUTUROSCOPE), which were previously introduced with great success, as well as the 1st METUSCOPE online Film Review held for the first time last year.

The review gives an insight into the diploma works of METU’s graduate animation, motion picture and media design students, and also presents selected exam films, as well as the short films of the Cluj-Napoca Faculty of the Sapientia Transylvanian Hungarian University, which participated as guests. In addition, thanks to the National Film Institute – Film Archive, the event pays tribute to the masters of 110-year-old Hungarian animation with a truly special selection of animated short films. In addition to the film screenings, visitors to the two-day event can also take part in professional round-table discussions.

In addition to films that address important social issues or deal with the innermost secrets and deepest fears of consciousness, we can also see lighter and more absurd works during the two days. Most of the works presented at the film review are being shown on the big screen for the first time, and due to appearances at international film festivals, they will not be available to the public for a while.

Budapest Metropolitan University is an inspiring environment where both students and teachers can find the path to their personal and professional fulfillment. Its instructors are also mentors, who work together with the students as partners, developing independent thinking and creativity. This cinematic army review is the result of this joint journey” he noted Peter Csizmadi Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries of Budapest Metropolitan University.
