According to Ukrainian sources, 48 hours after the Wagner group took over the building of the cement factory on the outskirts of Bahmut, the Ukrainian armed forces defeated the Russian mercenaries and pushed them back two kilometers to the border of the city.
There is no unequivocally proven source for the Ukrainian victory yet, but it is a strong indicator that Ukrainian soldiers taking photos in front of the cement works and photos of dead Wagner mercenaries are appearing on social media sites. By definition, we will not share a recording of the latter.
The Bakhmut area remains the only region where Russian troops are still conducting offensive operations: the Wagner Group has been fighting to encircle the city of Donetsk for almost two months. In connection with the occupation of the cement plant located in the suburbs, it seemed that the rest of the city would be in danger, but by expelling the Wagnerites, the Ukrainians nullified the results of a two-month offensive.
