In Transcarpathia, a day of mourning was announced for September 2 in memory of seven fallen soldiers.

The deceased soldiers: Andrij Kosztik (Kőrösmező), Roman Hrapenyuk (Rahó), Vaszil Popadics (Terebesfejérpatak), Vaszil Babics (Munkács), Sztepan Eperesi (Királyháza), Ivan Drija (Királyháza) and Szerhij Černikov (Ungvár).

On September 2nd, in Transcarpathia, we pay tribute to the memory of the heroes who lost their lives in the line of duty, fighting against the Russian aggressor. A day of mourning has been declared in our county, the state flags will be kept at half-mast, and at 9 o’clock Kyiv time we will honor the memory of the soldiers with a one-minute silence, and in the churches, holy masses will be held for the peace of mind of the deceased.
