When a dog ends up on the street, people tend to blame the owner for what happened. In this case, it really seems like he had no other choice now…

The Staffordshire bull terrier mix was found by a passer-by in a park in Ipswich, Australia at the end of January and rushed straight to an animal shelter in Brisbane. A note was also found on the dog’s collar explaining his sad situation. “Unfortunately, my parents have to leave me here for my own safety,” wrote the owners of the dog named Charlie. Then: “If I had stayed where I was, the bad boy would have hurt me, and mommy and daddy would no longer have a home.” It seems they really had your four-legged safety in mind when they left it in the park.

The message also revealed that Charlie “loves people” but needs time to get used to them.

The caretakers of the shelter also noticed this when the four-legged one arrived. He needed time to settle in. He was placed in foster care until a new home could be found for him. First of all, an owner who is at home a lot, because for Charlie, lots of hugs, love and attention are the priority.
