A fact-finding article by Novaya Gazate Europe concluded that Ramzan Kadyrov is terminally ill. The Chechen leader is said to be being treated at the presidential hospital in Moscow, from where these news leaked. In 2019, the driver was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis, a disease with severe pain that can even be fatal. In 2022, his condition began to deteriorate rapidly, he began to suffer from breathing difficulties, and kidney dysfunction also appeared. According to the newspaper, Kadyrov had trouble speaking for long periods of time, he started to walk more slowly, and to dress too warmly for Chechen conditions.
To refute these reports, Kadyrov started a campaign, after the publication of the article, two videos about the leader were made public. On one, he is conducting a trial, and on the other, he is working out in the gym.
Kadyrov previously said that he does not see the point of peace negotiations with Ukraine. According to him, only the side that is in trouble needs negotiations.
