The details of the case have not yet been made public. Dmitry Peskovthe Kremlin spokesman said Vladimir Putin president and Sergei Shoigu the Minister of Defense was informed about the detention of the Deputy Head of Ministry.
The 49-year-old Ivanov as deputy minister

The Russian news agency TASSSZ, referring to the law enforcement agencies, announced that the SZK intends to achieve the arrest of the suspect. A particularly large bribe starts at 1 million rubles (about HUF 4 million). The maximum penalty for this crime is up to 15 years in prison.
Ivanov in May 2016 appointed by presidential decree Deputy Minister of Defense. Before that, between 2013 and 2016, he was the CEO of Oboronstroj, a company subordinate to the Ministry of Defense and specialized in military construction works. According to Forbes, in 2018, his family’s income was 136.7 million rubles.
Before joining the Ministry of Defense in 2012, Ivanov was the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region. During this period, Shoigu was the governor of the Moscow region. Previously, he worked for several state-owned companies in the energy industry.
