The Ukrainian news portal Hromadske was also told by the personnel of military auxiliaries and recruitment offices that those who avoid mobilization are most often reported by their own relatives, especially their wives, thereby “solving” family problems. And this further worsens the perception of the army, which is seen by more and more people in Ukraine as a punitive body.

According to the recruiters, the Ukrainians who are conscripted for military service are primarily responsible for the problem themselves, who forget to renew their exemptions in time, do not fulfill the necessary requirements or directly try to escape from the army personnel.

Since the conscription was expanded, the offices have received more and more calls, mainly from affected wives or other relatives, to report family members who are in hiding.

– said Katerina Hubrij, an employee of the Vinnytsia county recruitment and social support center, who says that this also contributes to the fact that many people see the army as a “punitive body”, and this also harms the morale of Ukraine, which is at war.

According to the military adjutant, the reason for the growing dislike of the population is the lack of proper communication: as he said, “everyone is aware that people are needed on the front line, but many are not willing to do their duty.”

Above all, this malice falls on colleagues who have just returned from the battles, who instead of thanks receive curses and hatred for their service.

As is known, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and his allies welcomed the fact that the US House of Representatives passed a total aid package of 95 billion dollars for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan on Saturday. This was expected in Moscow, according to the Russians, the aid will “further enrich the United States of America and continue to bankrupt Ukraine”, while “it will lead to the death of even more Ukrainians”.
