Robbie Bell, an Australian chef, demonstrated the trick, which he called the best kitchen stunt he had ever shared. According to him, he learned this solution from Shaun Hurrell, one of the best chefs in the UK.
If the foils stick together, as here, just make a ball from the already removed aluminum foil strips and start rubbing it on the part of the roll where the layers overlap
the chef explained in the video.
It is also clear from the video that after rubbing, the layers separate and the aluminum foil can be used again.
