The Ivan Hurst, a Yuri Ivanov-class Russian military intelligence ship, was recently attacked by a Ukrainian drone. Several videos have emerged showing what appeared to be a Ukrainian naval drone crashing into the side of the ship, but the damage was not visible in these videos.

Today, the warship appeared in the ports of Sevastopol in the Crimea, based on several recordings, it seems that the Ivan Hursz is undamaged.

The Ivan Hursz, commissioned in 2018, is a special vehicle: it is equipped with various radio wave surveillance systems and electronic warfare support devices, as well as modern communication equipment. It has little weaponry: only heavy machine guns and portable rocket launchers.

In addition, the ship belonging to the Yuri Ivanov class is a real rarity in the Russian Navy, only two of the planned four were put into service: the Yuri Ivanov, the name of the class, in 2013, and the Ivan Hurst in 2017. The commissioning of the other two reconnaissance ships was planned for 2020, but this was later postponed to 2025.
