Marriage at First Sight debuted on TV2 on March 18. Applicants to the program are interviewed by a professional team of psychologists and relationship experts. Then, following tests based on scientific methods, they look for the perfect partners of the applicants. According to science, couples who are made for each other first meet in front of the altar and get married unknown, then after four weeks of living together they decide whether to stay together or separate.
The reality show, which previously ran on RTL, is a huge success on TV2. So it is perhaps not surprising that the season has not yet ended, but the TV2 Group has already decided whether to continue the production. Gábor Fischer, TV2 Group’s program director, announced a few minutes ago at the Digital-Media Hungary conference that the next season of the program has been ordered. However, it is surprising that, according to the announcement, the sequel will be released this fall.
