DTK’s new show has more mistakes than good moments

--

This talk show wouldn’t be bad, but unfortunately in reality some elements don’t show as well as they were supposed to have planned.

Kriszta D. Tóth and the staff of the WMN magazine appeared with a new program Ki vele! with title. Based on the preview and the interview before the show, it will be a talk show that asks brave questions and, where appropriate, expresses unvarnished opinions. The premiere, however, did not offer this experience.

It has already been refined in the felkon what this innovative (intended) genre is, which will run here for 60 minutes, that the editorial atmosphere of WMN.hu will be manifested on the screen, that is why the two cameramen will also join into the conversation. In addition to the fact that the constant movement of the two cameramen is strange and possibly annoying, we see them sometimes working magic with their cameras over the moderator’s shoulders, sometimes in the aura of the guests. The really big problem with this is that the cameraman’s main job is to pay attention to the picture. Since they have to pay attention to what is being said at the same time, so that they can compulsively connect to the topic, so there is less focus on composing the images to be recorded.

The recordings are shaky, but again, this is a characteristic of the show, that it is recorded handheld. There is also a crane, and a camera or rather a gopro is placed on a tripod in the foreground. The point is that the scenes are mainly shot handheld, without a gimbal, which is fine for the Breaking Bad series, but not for this one. Especially since there is a piece of the picture that doesn’t seem to shake as much. Presumably because the cameraman holds that camera better, and it was set up well. And here we come to another technical problem almost every camera gives a different picture. Of course, this could be left as is, but unfortunately it drops a lot during the shifts when in one picture everyone’s face is burning, in the other the colors are beautiful, there are depths.

All these little things take away attention from the content, which could also be used. The topic of the first broadcast was relationships, monogamy, multiple marriages, open relationships, eternal fidelity and such. People who think about the topic in such different ways sat in the set to share their thoughts, such as Cecília Esztergályos, who has been divorced 5 times and has been married to her 6th husband for forty years, the water polo player who fell in love at first sight and then got married, Gergely Kiss, the clinical specialist psychologist, Noémi Orvos-Tóth and writer representing the Z generation, Luca Nyáry. It’s a trite topic, but it’s good that they were able to bring together such a colorful company.

The conversation goes on its way, and then DTK walks up to Cecília Esztergályos when he is about to start talking about how much he would frolic even today if he could. Fortunately, I didn’t manage to kill the conversation, but what I don’t understand is why in the background there is a need for DTK mimicking the editorial work and two for his little minion to the editor, who act as bio-sets in the background.

Who with him! its concept is not bad, but many people have done it much better. For example, a YouTuber brigade consisting of a handful of people, who were able to solve this show in a low-budget way, but in a much more spectacular way, where there are still scenes shot from hand, but they are directly better separated (with a different aspect ratio, with a VHS-like effect) from the tripod, with a good lens, about pictures that give nice close-ups. This is a Common Multiple from the Focus Group. Who with him! but then the poor man ordered from Temu a multiple of Közös.
