Amy Sherman-Palladino has revealed that she hasn’t completely given up on getting a sequel to Hotel of the Hearts – A Year in Our Lives series.

The creator of the iconic Hotel of Hearts series, Amy Sherman-Palladino, has hinted that she would be open to the idea of a sequel. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Sherman-Palladino explained that the dysfunctionality of the family is always an opportunity to explore new stories in the Gilmore Girls universe.
The thing about families is that they never work things out. They’re forever dysfunctional, and that’s exactly why it’s the best way to create new stories
– He told.
Sherman-Palladino also revealed that she wanted to tell more in the original series, but they were pressed for time.
I never liked the way Lane’s life turned out. I wanted to spend more time with him. It would be interesting to see a baby, a child, and what the next Gilmore girl would be like
he added.
Sherman-Palladino already spoke in 2022 about the fact that he does not shy away from the continuation, but he is not working on it right now.
It really just depends on the timing. The stars are not aligned yet
– he explained to US Weekly.
