It was revealed two weeks ago that Pankotai Lili, one of the speakers of the October 23 teacher and student demonstrations changed schools. The background of the case is that the director of the Lajos Nagy High School of the Cistercian Order in Pécs distanced himself from his student’s speech in a statement, saying that what was said was not compatible with church values.

According to Pankotai, for example, her class teacher sent her out of the room and asked the others to convince her not to go on a trip with them, otherwise the whole class trip would be cancelled. In the end, they canceled the trip and rescheduled it for the second semester.
“They are waging psychological warfare against him”
After the speech on October 23, Lili Pankotai spoke several times with the school director and the class teacher, but after a while she felt that she would not receive equal treatment, in fact, “psychological warfare is being waged against him”and
they blame him for the articles in the pro-government media and the loss of prestige.
“The principal made a statement about the teachers who taught me, and according to him, with the exception of one teacher, everyone else said they couldn’t work with me anymore. (…) In my opinion, they just wanted to give me one last stomachache with this and the way they communicated it” said Pankotai.
