Three men were injured when a car and two vans crashed in Magyarsárd, Cluj County, on Wednesday evening.
One of the injured is in serious condition. A car and two vans collided on the E 81 road. One of the victims was found trapped in the wreckage and is in serious condition. According to the disaster prevention inspectorate of Cluj County, two ambulances, two SMURD teams and one SAJ team arrived at the scene.
“A 30-year-old man was trapped in one of the vehicles, suffered multiple traumas, and lost consciousness. Firefighters immediately took action with their equipment to ensure access to the victim trapped in the vehicle and free him without exacerbating his injuries. The man was transferred to the mobile intensive care unit of SMURD for emergency medical care and transport to the hospital. According to initial assessments, the man’s condition is serious,” they said.
Two other men were treated at the scene of the accident and then taken to hospital. They were conscious and cooperated with the rescuers.
