The accident took place in an area normally closed to traffic, and the little girl was seriously injured, 112Press.hu learned.
According to the portal’s information, the little girl participated in swimming as a student at a school in Szombathely and they left the facility through one of the side doors. This opens in the direction of an area normally closed to traffic.
Now, however, works are being carried out in the area of the thermal bath.
From the pool of the thermal spa, a Citroen van was driving at low speed in the direction of the Béla Bartók boulevard. There was a Peugeot van on the road, which the male driver wanted to avoid.
112Press.hu knows that one of the girls with the group suddenly stopped on the road and bent down to tie her shoelaces. That’s when the car hit him. The child fell and went under the car, but the wheel did not run over him.
Based on primary data, the child suffered a serious injury. The ambulance took him to the Markusovszky hospital.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
