The press department of the Csongrád-Csanád County Police Headquarters told our portal that the driver of the car flew out of the car, and the ambulance took him to the hospital with serious injuries. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is still ongoing, but the police assume that the driver who was involved in the accident was not driving at a speed appropriate to the road and visibility conditions.

Krisztina Molnár, the head of the county disaster management, reported to the Autosektor that one half of the car that was split in two by the high-speed collision was on the road, which is not considered extraordinary, but the other half bent over and pressed against the bridge pillar, and had to be removed from there with tension cutters.
The car, which was wrecked beyond recognition, was found to be a Mercedes that had been in an accident, based on the – now obscured – number plate. The more than quarter-century-old, “papal-eyed” Mercedes clock showed 341,000 kilometers in the most recent technical test last fall. Which is not much for this diel engine car.
