The US Senate voted on the 95 billion dollar foreign aid package, which includes military support for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, CNN reported.

US President Joe Biden is expected to sign the relevant legislation on Wednesday. On Tuesday evening, the Senate supported the measure adopted by the US House of Representatives on Saturday, with a bipartisan vote of 79-18. The package includes 61 billion dollars – i.e. more than 22 thousand billion forints – of military aid to Ukraine. According to the Pentagon, this will be delivered to the war-torn country within days.

As CNN writes, about $23 billion of the $61 billion budget would be used to replenish weapons and supplies delivered by the United States, and more than $11 billion would finance current American military operations in the region.

The nearly $14 billion in the bill would help Ukraine purchase advanced weapons systems and other defense equipment.
