Alexandre Dupré (Jean-Paul Belmondo) promises to improve, so most of his prison sentence is released.
He gets on a boat to pretend to be a maharaja and win the hearts of billionaire women. By the time they dock in Monaco, he befriends Sophie (Mirella D’Angelo), another big con in the business.
So together, their knowledge can make millions, they just need to find a suitable victim. However, the chosen millionaire Helmut (Pierre Vernier) asks Sophia to marry him, so Dupré is left alone.
He leaves for Venice, but the air is hot there: assassins are panting after him because of a bag he brought through customs as a favor.
The 108-minute French-Italian action comedy, made in 1980, is directed by Georges Lautner and stars Jean-Paul Belmondo.
