Members of the Hatvan City Protection Association planted fruit trees in the game park. The city administration placed a total of 19 trees in the area.


The members of the Hatvan City Protection Association took garden tools to plant the 8 fruit trees, with which a total of 19 trees now enrich the area of ​​the wildlife park. Cherry, pear and plum trees were also planted.

Richárd Horváth pointed out that the community of people in their 60s actively pays attention to their environment. “We sixty-somethings protect nature.” Now we have planted fruit trees, and although this is happening in the present, it is about the future. When we plant a tree for our children, we think of our grandchildren. As well as to preserve and protect the environment, he said. He added that the protection and development of green areas will continue to be of particular importance to the city in the future.

The tree-planting campaign was organized by the city defenders of Hatvan on the occasion of Earth Day. The worldwide event draws attention to how important the living world and the preservation of biological diversity have become today.
