A car skidded and collided with a barrier on Monday morning at kilometer 74 of the M0 highway. The vehicle turned around on the inner lane on the side heading towards the Megyeri bridge, the disaster management reports.
The fire department was also alerted to the accident, and then the vehicle was de-energized.

the inner lane was closed, so the congestion on the affected road section is already 10 kilometers long.
There is also a queue of cars on the M0 motorway, in the southern sector. In the direction of the M5, between kilometers 12 and 14, due to copper repair works, two lanes are open, so the congestion is already 2 kilometers long.
Across the country, accidents are slowing traffic
On the side of the M43 motorway leading to the M5 motorway, in the Makó area, a truck collided with the inner barrier on Monday morning. At kilometer 36, the inner lane was closed.
Two cars collided in the Szentes area, at the 38th kilometer section of highway 451. Traffic is currently moving in one lane on the affected road section.
Budapest XXIII. in the district a car collided with a barrier on the outbound side of the M5 motorway, near the Lower Némed exit. According to the disaster management, the vehicle blocked the outer lane, so the firefighters pushed the car into the stop lane and cleared the debris from the roadway.
