An arrest warrant was issued against the suspected cause of the traffic accident on Ferihegyi út.

Traffic Police Department of the Budapest Police Headquarters 01000/1662/2024. the Budapest XVIII. district, in the case of a road traffic accident that resulted in the death of two people, on the section of highway 4 leading to Ferenc Liszt International Airport, at the height of Billentyű utca. According to the available data, the Volkswagen Touareg heading towards the city from the direction of the airport was driven by 21-year-old Moldovan citizen Iavorschi Nicolai, and crossed into the opposite lane, where it collided with two other cars. Two people were killed in one car, and two people were injured in the other. The driver and passengers of the causing vehicle fled after the accident.
