The futsal team from Kanizsa prepared with a very large frame for the championship against the top-ranked team from the upper house at the time, which for the first time seemed to be able to bring the paper form according to the table. The situation of the South Zala team did not look too favorable for a short time after the break, but after 0-3 they were able to improve quickly. The series of goals was opened by János Szakmeiszter, who quickly reached three, while Bálint Millei was also effective, and by then the home team was already in the lead. However, that was not the end, as Béli Milán, who was celebrating the NB III bronze medal with FC Nagykanizsa, also scored two goals.

Nagykanizsa FC: Szabó Á. – Kollár, Béli M., Gyurcsányi, Szakmeiszter J. Replacement: Horváth G., Bolla, Horváth E., Németh M., Szollár, Kálcsics F., Molnár M., Takács S.

The South Zala team didn’t have much time to prepare for their next home game, as they made up for their lack of championship in the 6th round at the Kanizsa Arena. The match against Újpest started evenly at the beginning, and only at the beginning of the first half were we able to register goals from Kanizsa. The second half was already more hectic due to the changes in goals, and the hosts came out better from that as well.

With its victory, Nagykanizsa FC advanced to fifth place in the table.
