The deputy prime minister of Iran, Mohammad Mokhber, said that the role of the dollar in the world economy is changing, and an increasing number of countries are moving away from it in the course of their business.
According to him, this is no longer a voluntary process, but a forced response on the part of the countries, thanks to the fact that the US government started using the dollar as a weapon.
According to Mokhber, based on the experience of the past decades, the trend is clear, according to which many countries are trying to move away from the dollar in order to avoid possible future sanctions.
The weakening role of the dollar also significantly weakens the global political weight of the United States, causing challenges for them.
The deputy president also said that Iran is committed to developing banking and trade relations between the ACU member states in all areas.
For a long time, Iran has been trying to reduce its dependence on the dollar as much as possible, and in the spirit of this, it no longer uses the USD in its trade transactions with Russia.
