If you buy a new top-of-the-range smartphone from Samsung, you won’t be surprised to find that there is no charger or other accessories in the box. Actually, they don’t even pack it with their mid-range mobile phones, but the South Korean manufacturer is happy to give one to consumers, if they are willing to pay the extra amount that is usually quite hefty. The manufacturer’s latest 50-watt charger will be almost ridiculously overpriced.

The adapter has two outputs, if we use only one 50, if we use both, we can charge our favorite Samsung or other brand devices with 25-25 watts. Even the maximum charging speed of 50 watts is not much, but it is more than enough for Samsung’s smartphones, because none of them support a power mode faster than 45 watts.

At the same time, the purchase price of EUR 69.90 causes some eyebrows to be raised. At current exchange rates, this amount means approximately HUF 28,000, and for much less money than that, you can buy a lot of faster, better-equipped network adapters that are capable of much more.

It is worth taking a look at Blitzwolf or Baseus. In the case of Samsung’s new 50-watt charger, we are mostly forced to pay for the brand, since we cannot talk about revolutionary specifications. If you think that this charger will charge Samsung brand devices better, then you are wrong.

The accessory supports the same Power Delivery and PPS standards as other decent fast chargers available today. We hope that this overpriced novelty will be discounted as soon as possible, because there is not much point in buying it at the moment.
