No BlizzCon, canceled People Can Fly game

The final trailer for Stellar Blade is here. The last few weeks revolved around the release of the action game Shift Up at Sony, the final stop of which is the newly released launch trailer. In addition to the video, the team also announced that the New Game+ function will be added to the game as part of the first day’s update – so it will technically be available from the premiere, contrary to previous statements.

This year’s BlizzCon is cancelled. After the events that have happened around Blizzard in recent months, it can be seen that the company’s priority is not to hold the usual event. According to the official statement, although the decision was not easy to make, they assure everyone that BlizzCon will not end permanently, we can count on its return in the future.

People Can Fly has stopped development of Project Dagger. The latest game of the Polish team would have been a cooperative action-RPG, the publishing works of which would have been handled by themselves according to the plans, after Take Two pulled out from behind the project in 2022. However, according to a recent investor report, development was halted, with the game’s size and commercial potential behind the decision.

Another sign of the next Gears of War. We reported earlier this month that according to The Verge, Microsoft could reveal the new episode of the series at the beginning of the summer, and now Liam McIntyre, who lends the voice of JD Fenix, spoke up when asked about Gears of War 5 he responded that the makers would respond in June. Of course, this cannot be considered an official confirmation, but it is certain that Microsoft will hold the Xbox Summer Showcase at the beginning of June and this is not the first sign that the Gears series may appear in the show.

Exodus appeared with a new developer video. Archetype Entertainment’s first game was already on the radar of many sci-fi fans when it was released, and the creators have been constantly getting questions about the game ever since. Some of these have now been answered, accompanied by a recent Ask-Answer video.

Deathbound will also be released on consoles. Trialforge Studio’s soulslike work was previously only officially announced for PC, but the development team recently announced that the action RPG will also be released for PS5 and Xbox Series at an as yet unknown premiere date. Along with the announcement, we also got a new trailer for the game.

Capcom removes three games from Steam. The company did not elaborate on the background of the decision, the announcement on the Steam page of the 3 affected titles – Flock, Dark Void and Dark Void: Zero – informs that Capcom will no longer distribute them in the Valve store from May 8.
