And with this, it became official that the name that appeared earlier was not a fiction, and that Rockstar Games really planned to hide one of the main characters of Grand Theft Auto V in the mockery of an agent…

Steven Ogg played Trevor in Grand Theft Auto V, which was released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 over ten years ago. No single-player DLC was made for the game, because Rockstar and Take-Two focused more on Grand Theft Auto Online, which had much more money than the planned but canceled single-player DLCs. One of the DLCs could have been called Agent Trevor, and in addition, Rockstar planned two more expansions (one called Zombie Apocalypse and the other called Alien Invasion).

Ogg revealed during a Q&A with the crew that Trevor would have worked as an embedded agent for the federal agency. They also recorded some stuff with James Bond Trevor. According to Ogg, Trevor would still have been an extremely problematic character, but he would have tried to do his best. Then it was all shut down completely, and Rockstar never returned to plans for single-player DLC.

Most of the planned DLC projects were eventually diverted to Grand Theft Auto Online. It was regularly updated and featured story-related innovations, while Grand Theft Auto V never received any DLC. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about the other two DLCs, but the base game had a lot of easter eggs about the existence of extraterrestrials, which could have been used by Rockstar to launch Alien Invasion. (There weren’t many references to the Zombie Apocalypse in Grand Theft Auto V.)

Rockstar is now working hard on Grand Theft Auto VI. The first trailer collected more than 90 million views in 24 hours, despite the leak. The game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series sometime in 2025.
