AOC – iPon explodes into the segment of professional displays with three monitors

--

AOC has already addressed average users and gamers with its various products, but in the past few days, the company’s first displays designed specifically for professional users and content producers have also been unveiled. There are three members of the Graphic Pro U3 series, all of them have a USB Type-C port, they promise a true-to-color display, and their stands also provide great customization.

In the Graphic Pro U3 series, the U32U3CV occupies a 32-inch copy, which tries to conquer with its 3840 x 2160 pixel Nano IPS panel. There are also two 27-inch models in the line, of which the u27U3CV has a Nano IPS panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, while the Q27U3CV has a QD IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. All the new monitors have flicker-free W-LED backlighting, which is definitely good news.

All of the new monitors come with anti-reflective coating displays, all operate at a 60Hz refresh rate, and all have Adaptive-Sync support. The panels are 10-bit, so they can display 1.07 billion color shades, their response time is 4 milliseconds (GtG), while their viewing angles are 178 degrees. All panels can cover 98% of the DCI-P3 color space, and thanks to factory calibration, they have a Delta E value of less than 2. All new monitors are VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and all new Calman-ready.

We summarized the most important features of the new monitors using the manufacturer’s website, although at the time of writing our news, the selection was quite chaotic, so we replaced the seemingly inaccurate information with the help of the official press release

The video inputs include at least 1 HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.4 connector, and the USB-C port can be used for data transfer, power supply, and via DisplayPort Alternate Mode as a video input. In addition to these, we also get a four-port USB hub, a few USB-C ports, and a 3.5 mm Jack Audio connector. An extra feature is that the KVM Switch function is also available, which means that with the help of a keyboard and mouse pair, we can control up to two configurations, of course alternately, and we can also access the Ethernet Pass-Through function via the RJ-54 port.

It is interesting that the 27-inch model also received a DisplayPort video output, so a second DisplayPort-based device can be connected to it. At the same time, the picture-in-picture (PiP) and picture-by-picture (PbP) modes are not missing either, i.e. we can use the available image space efficiently. The factory stand allows you to tilt the display, adjust its height, rotate it, and set it to pivot/portrait mode.

The new monitors are expected to hit store shelves in July 2024. The price of the U32U3CV is 499 British pounds, the price of the U27U3CV is 399.99 British pounds, while the price of the cheapest model Q27U3CV will be 289.99 British pounds.
